Welding and Fabrication

Bazil Technologies is a bona fide South African based fabrication facility geared towards servicing the pressure equipment, storage tanks, piping and general steel structures industries for new fabrications, repair works as well as maintenance works all fabrication works and services are aligned with the ISO 3834 Standard: Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Meterials: Comprehensive Quality Requirements Bazil Technologies provides its product and service offering in both workshop and site-based options. Bazil Technologies is a 100% black entity which consists of a professional team who have gained extensive experience throughout the fabrication industry of pressure equipment, storage tanks, piping and general structural steel work.

Welding Consultation

In addition to operating as a pressure parts fabricator and repairer, Bazil Technologies also offer consultation services associated to the welding field. These may be listed as, but not limited to;

  • Qualification of welding procedures and the prepation of welding documentation.
  • Qualification of welders and the preparation of welding documentation.
  • Consultation and problem solving with regards to weld repair rates.
  • Consultation and selection of optimal welding processes such as, Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW) and submerged arc welding (SAW).
  • Consultation and problem solving with regards to weldability and selection of materials and welding consumables.
  • Consultation and problem solving with regards to legislated compliance to the OHSA when welding on pressure
